Refunds & Cancellation

Digital downloads need a clear cancellation and refund process that complies with the customer’s applicable consumer law.
Checkout cancellation
An open Stripe Checkout session can be cancelled before payment. The shopping cart remains available so the customer can try again.
Paid digital content
A full refund revokes download access; a partial refund retains it. This technical behaviour does not replace statutory rights or the business’s approved refund policy.
EU launch requirement
Before live sales, obtain legal advice on express consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledgement of any resulting effect on the withdrawal right. Add the approved wording to checkout and these terms.
